Bus Manager 2024-A

User‑definable default behavior for configuring bus configurations, configurable XIL framework label ID template

The Bus Manager 2024-A (24.1) now lets you specify the 'user-defined bus configuration behavior'. With this behavior, you can configure the default behavior for assigning communication matrix elements to bus configurations and adding bus configuration features to the assigned elements. For example, you can configure that all PDUs and ISignals with the RX direction are automatically added to the Inspection part of a bus configuration. Moreover, you can select the bus configuration features that are automatically added to the PDUs and ISignals, and specify whether model access and/or test automation support are enabled for the respective function ports.
The Bus Manager lets you also configure the template that is used to generate XIL framework label IDs for TRC file variables of bus configuration function ports. You can configure the template in the Buses category on the Options page. To configure the template, you can use predefined macros as well as static texts.
