Overview

This workshop will be presented in three parts:

Part 1: Rapid Controls Prototyping Solutions for Universities

  • Taking a control system concept and implementing it in a real application
  • Benefits and requirements for rapid controls development
  • Overview of the rapid controls prototyping process
  • Integrating dSPACE tools with existing systems
  • Use case: on-target bypassing

Part 2: Introduction to an Easy Middleware Programming Environment for Autonomous Systems

  • Using the RTMaps platform to develop multi-sensor applications
  • Using RTMaps for autonomous applications - sensor fusion, data processing, object detection, running neural networks, data logging, testing and more
  • RTMaps for educational use

Part 3: Data-Driven Development of Autonomous Systems

  • Overview of solutions for autonomous driving development and testing
  • Sensor simulation toolchain for model-in-the-loop (MIL), software-in-the-loop (SIL) and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing
  • Raw data (i.e. camera, radar, lidar) injection for HIL simulations
  • HIL over-the-air test bench (camera, radar, ultrasonic sensors)
