University Racing Eindhoven

University Racing Eindhoven (URE) is the Dutch Formula Student team from Eindhoven. It consists of about 50 members.

So far, the team has built 12 racing vehicles and can look back at numerous Formula Student competitions. The team was founded in 2002 and started competing in the area of combustion engines. The first electric vehicle by URE and even all Benelux states, the URE05e was introduced in 2010. Currently, the team is developing URE12. For the last 5 years, the racing vehicles have been equipped with dSPACE MicroAutoBox II.

At the moment, the team is developing its third vehicle with a four-wheel drive and a powertrain that the team members developed themselves. To test the powertrain, the team uses a specific test bench that is controlled by MicroAutoBox II. The team is looking forward to new results, which will help improve the overall control of the vehicle even further.
