Team E.Stall

The E.Stall team was founded at the Esslingen University of Applied Sciences in 2010. At first, the team worked on developing a prototype for an electric racing vehicle. Since completing the task in 2012, it has been developing and building a new electric racing vehicle every year. The team currently exists of roughly 30 students who helped E.Stall score a place in the top 15 in the world ranking of all Formula Society of Automotive Engineers (FSAE) events. Last year, the team was able to prove itself with very good results at the Formula Student competitions. The team won in the Endurance category in the Czech Republic and reached fourth place overall.

It is E.Stall’s intention to provide the first four-wheel drive vehicle for the University by 2018. The team will perform a requirements analysis for the vehicle to meet all technical requirements. The results of the analysis will be checked and evaluated by alumni and professors.

Thanks to the support of dSPACE MicroAutoBox II, the team is able to run the low-voltage electronics outside the vehicle to perform continuous operation tests, for example.
