Software Developer – C++, C, Linux (m/f/d)

Simulation is the key to modern software validation on ECUs, especially in very complex applications, such as driver assistance systems and autonomous driving.

VEOS^® is PC-based simulation platform for validating the software of electronic control units for vehicles in a number of development stages.

High demands are placed on the simulation platform. For example, it has to deliver reliable results independent of the hardware and is also used on different operating systems on PCs (Windows^®, Linux^®). Linux-based control units are used especially in new types of vehicle architectures where high performance data processing is required.

To further advance VEOS^®, we are looking for a software developer (m/f/d) with a focus on Linux. Feel free to apply, whether you are a committed graduate or experienced professional.

Your Tasks

• Conceive, design, implement, and test high-quality software for simulation
• Independently develop innovative solutions with a customer focus.
• Use current technologies and development environments, including Git, Microsoft® Azure® DevOps, Microsoft Visual Studio®
• Work with a highly motivated and agile team

Your Qualifications

• A university degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a comparable technical or scientific field
• Very good knowledge in software development with C++ and C, and experience with Linux
• Knowledge in the following is desirable, but not a prerequisite:
  • Programming of embedded systems
  • C# or comparable environments, e.g., Java,
  • Automotive bus systems, e.g., CAN, Ethernet, Some/IP.
• Pronounced analytical, systematic, and independent way of working
• Customer focus, strong communication skills, and ability to work in a team
• High level of commitment, initiative, and willingness to learn
• Very good English skills, German knowledge desirable
