End-of-Life Information

The end-of-life of the ApplTools Advanced Testautomation Interface Package is planned for December 01, 2026. As of this date, no services of any kind will be available for this product. We advise against using the ApplTools Advanced Testautomation Interface Package in new projects. New Releases (Versions) of the ApplTools Advanced Testautomation Interface Package will be available for customers with a Software Maintenance Service Contract until April 30, 2025. Release 2024-B will be the last release that contains ApplTools Advanced Testautomation Interface Package.

Successor

For new projects we recommend that you use the ApplTools Basic Package solution.

This package provides:

• The TA Library that lets you manipulate or change signals in a Simulink model during real-time (SCALEXIO, MicroAutoBox III, MicroLabBox II) or VEOS simulation, e.g., from within ControlDesk or AutomationDesk.
• The XILMapper that provides ASAM XIL Mapping support for TA Library and Simulink blocks.
• The LabelInterface library that eases the handling of labels and buses in Simulink.
• The Diagnostic Tester library that provides Simulink blocks for diagnostic protocols, based on the Transport Protocol (ISO 15765 2), e.g., Unified Diagnostic Services (UDS).
• Further utilities

From Solution Release 2025-A, the ApplTools Basic Package will be expanded to include the TRC Manipulator, which was previously included in the ApplTools Advanced Testautomation Interface Package.
