1. General

This patch can be installed only after the installation of dSPACE RCP&HIL Release 2024-B.

2. Problems fixed by this Patch

Patch 1
- Fix a crash that occurs on CustomLib parameter download
- Fix a crash when a VEOS Model is updated
- Fix the unwanted recompilation in MATLAB after redownload
- Fix the road connection point disconnecting after saving
- Fix a ModelDesk crash on trimming roads
- Fix for navigation of Multi instances in ParameterSets jumping always to the top multi instance 
- Fix a ModelDesk crash while using context menu in the Road Network window
- Fix the requirement of MATLAB for registering Custom Libraries

3. Limitations and Workarounds

4. Installing the Patch
----------------------------------------------------------------------

To install the patch, you must be logged on with administrator rights.

Ensure that the active installation set by the dSPACE Installation Manager is
the dSPACE Release 2024-B.

To install this update, simply run DS_ModelDesk_24.2_p1_1652425.exe.
The setup will automatically locate and patch the active dSPACE installation.


5. Uninstalling the Patch
----------------------------------------------------------------------

For uninstalling the patch you have to make it visible in the Windows update history:
On Windows 10, select "Control Panel" -> "Programs and Features" -> "View installed updates".

On Windows 11:
Since Windows Update 22H2 you have to find the uninstall command in the registry.
	HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\(Optional: Win6432Node)\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\{BEA8E2A4-CA20-4310-B3B2-79D32FF22740}+[PatchVersion]\UninstallString
You can copy the content of "UninstallString" and use it in the command line (cmd).
After a few minutes the Wizards appears for the uninstallation.


To uninstall the patch, you need access to your dSPACE Release 2024-B installation DVD.
