======================================= Contents of ControlDesk 2025-B (25.2p1) ======================================= Contents of this file - General - Changes in ControlDesk 2025-B (25.2p1) ------- General ------- Version of this information file: 1.0 ControlDesk 2025-B (25.2p1) is a patch for ControlDesk 2025-B. It includes bug fixes and improvements for ControlDesk 2025-B from November 2025 to May 2026. This patch is cumulative and includes all bug fixes and improvements from all previously released patches for ControlDesk 2025-B. The patch can be installed on an existing installation of ControlDesk 2025-B. It can be uninstalled if wanted. For uninstalling patches and hot fixes refer to FAQ 158: http://www.dspace.com/faq?158 ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Changes in ControlDesk 2025-B (25.2p1) compared to ControlDesk 2025-B (25.2) ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Automation: ----------- - Fix: The "ContainsByPath" method did not work correctly if the trc file had the same name as the (sub-)platform in the experiment. (1508227) Bus Navigator: -------------- - Fix: ControlDesk Ethernet monitor sometimes shows unexpected multi-second jumps in timestamps. (1367768) - Improvement: The performance when loading .expswcfg files has been improved. (1452421) - Fix: In some cases an error occured while loading experiments containing bus navigator parts. (1497030) - Fix: If ControlDesk and the hardware were restarted and online transition is performed again with a project containing ethernet monitors, unintended error messages were displayed in some cases for some ethernet monitors. (1497038) - Fix: The simultaneous start of several bus monitors (LIN, CAN and Ethernet monitors) could lead to a high CPU load. (1497232) - Fix: The tool could crash when saving an Ethernet monitoring file using a SCALEXIO interface that could not be accessed when the monitor was stopped. (1501093) - Fix: The tool could crash by loading Ethernet ARXML files where TP Configurations is Generic-TP. (1552039) - Fix: When loading an .expSwCfg file, the name for the file is derived by splitting the trace file name at the first "." and only the first segment is taken. This logic failed if the trace filename contained multiple dots. (1560584) - Fix: A particular J1939 frame could not be decoded. (1609388) - Improvement: During monitoring of a big amount of frames/s the tool consumed large amounts of memory in a very short time. (1619373) Data Set Manager: ----------------- - Fix: When creating the application image file outside the experiment for MC/MP applications, the application image only contained the part of the last "Create Application Image" command. (1569581) Measurement Management: ----------------------- - Fix: The tool could crash when using Switch Data Source for instrumented variables with non-numeric scalings. (1582902) Platforms / Devices: -------------------- - Fix: In some cases the termination of a diagnostic flash-job did not work. (1499927) - Fix: In case of using a simulation time group with virtual devices (VECUs), duplicate measurement timestamps could occur if the VECUs had different timestamp resolutions and the VECU with the lower resolution was selected as the simulation time group master. (1554617) - Improvement: The time synchronization was improved for VEOS systems. The adjustment of the time stamp calculation in VEOS systems between the setting of the start time (zero time) and the first time stamp conversion is now prevented. Significant start time stamp derivation in recordings is prevented. (1576096) Security Vulnerabilities: ------------------------- - Fix: Due to security vulnerabilities, the D3Server versions have been updated. (1574991) - Fix: Due to security vulnerabilities, the TMW libraries versions have been updated. (1627339) Signal Editor: -------------- - Fix: In some cases an error occured when deleting a signal. (1476634) Variables Management: --------------------- - Fix: In some cases the logged module name was wrong. (1468005) - Fix: For XIL mappings in the build result, the menu items "Replace Variables with Mappings" and "Replace Mappings with Variables" remained disabled. (1470196) - Fix: Adding a variable description without BuildResultMappings after adding a variable description with BuildResultMappings did not clear the mappings browser. (1490440) - Fix: The TRC parser did not recognize values for array variables correctly if the exponential notation with additive "F" (float) was used, e.g. "2e-2F". (1530113) - Fix: Variable mappings could be deactivated while the tool is online or measuring, which means that the variables could then no longer be resolved. (1572379) - Fix: The search window in the "Variables" tab overlapped the scrollbar of the variables list. (1603909) - Improvement: The handling of XIL mapping files from build results in ControlDesk experiments was improved. (1607522) - Fix: Adding variables to the Measurement Signal List via .SPPath was not possible via toolautomation, if sub-application and sub-model had the same name. (1614619) Visualization: -------------- - Fix: After changing the color style and adding an additional color, a crash could occur. (1500530) - Fix: In some cases the tool could crash when using the command "Create Layout Copy". (1503604) - Fix: In some cases, the tool could crash when using measured values for a manually created signal. (1505991) - Fix: The tool could crash if the cell type of a non-visible HierarchyArray was changed. (1517110) - Fix: The line styles "Staircase" and "Area Staircase" of a plotter instrument were not functional in a newly created plotter. (1525921) - Fix: The option in the time plotter to deactivate one variable erroneously deactivated all variables. (1542069) - Fix: A maximized split screen with two layouts led to a minimized layout as soon as you clicked somewhere else (e.g. in another layout) and again in one of the two layouts in split screen mode. (1542507) - Fix: The tool could crash when importing several layouts in a loop using toolautomation that contained plotter instruments with a visible toolbar. (1551917) - Fix: The access to OpenStreeMaps tiles in the map instrument (Browser Examples) was fixed. (1610292) - Fix: An instrument could not be connected via SPPath if sub-application and sub-model had the same name. (1627166) =============== End of Contents ===============
