Gas Engines

The Task

Validating ECUs for stationary gas engines in power generation plants in a crank-angle-based simulation environment.

The Challenge

To create a flexible test environment for a combination of engine and plant control.

The Solution

The ASM Gasoline Engine InCylinder Model enables a seamless transition from MIL to HIL simulation and provides a flexible parameterization process with tool-supported parameter variant handling. Engine-specific features can easily be modified due to the open model design.
