TargetLink: Well-Prepared for ISO 26262 2nd Edition

Published: June 13, 2018

In the process of recertifying the production code generator TargetLink 4.3, TÜV SÜD (German international certification authority) also assessed TargetLink concerning its compliance with the upcoming ISO 26262 2nd Edition, using the current document draft of the standard. TÜV SÜD expects all certified TargetLink versions to also be suitable for the development of safety-related systems in agreement with the ISO 26262 2nd Edition. This means TargetLink users will continue to be optimally equipped with the production code generator and can continue to use the established workflows.

ISO 26262 is the international automotive standard for the development of safety-related systems in road vehicles.
dSPACE offers a reference workflow providing guidance for the model-based development of safety-related software with TargetLink.
