SYNECT 2.1: Parallel processing of multiple projects and easier tool integration with OSLC

Published: July 14, 2016

Parallel processes of data in different Signal & Parameter Management projects

SYNECT 2.1, the latest version of dSPACE’s data management software, makes it easier to process multiple projects at the same time. For example, for the central management of different TargetLink models and their interfaces, signals and parameters, function developers and software developers can efficiently take the data recorded in a SYNECT project and re-use it in another project.  The data from multiple projects can also be processed and/or compared in layers next to each other. This saves valuable time when project tasks are performed.

Another new feature of SYNECT 2.1 is that it supports the open standard Open Services for Lifecycle Collaboration (OSLC), which makes it possible to link, view and process data from different tools. On the basis of OSLC, SYNECT can directly communicate and interact with other development tools that also support this standard. This lets HIL testers set up a defect (problem report) for a failed test case quickly and easily from their SYNECT Test Management project in an ALM/PLM system that is linked via OSLC, such as IBM® Rational® Team Concert.
