The build engine of VEOS is now also available on Linux systems. The support of Linux is important for using build servers or scaled simulations, where many simulations run in parallel on a cloud or cluster infrastructure. Therefore, Linux support is still based on a command line interface. Additionally, the Model Container Utility (MCU) is available. This Windows utility is free and lets you precompile V-ECUs without the need of VEOS in order to keep your IP protected.
