Engine Simulation with MicroAutoBox III

ConfigurationDesk 6.5, the latest version of the configuration and implementation software for dSPACE real-time hardware, extends its support of the MicroAutoBox III. The introduction of various I/O functions allows you to test functional safety and engine simulations, for example, for the crankshaft or the camshaft, so you can now also use them for prototyping engine control units. The new MicroAutoBox III version lets you configure bus communication with the DS1521 Bus & Network Board. The support of V-ECUs also allows you to execute AUTOSAR code on the MicroAutoBox III.

In addition, ConfigurationDesk 6.5 uses a time stamp to synchronize an application via Ethernet with other systems, such as AUTERA or other real-time platforms.

ConfigurationDesk 6.5 also supports variable-length signals in Simulink®, precompiling bus simulation containers (BSCs), string variables with Functional Mock-up Units (FMUs), and SCALEXIO NVRAM.
