Function developers in the automotive industry can now use a new rapid prototyping environment for service-based internal and external bypassing. Adaptations to the ECU source code are no longer necessary. Now, function developers can integrate service code, bypass hooks and new software functions directly into the complied ECU software. As a result, they can implement their ideas immediately and test them in the vehicle sooner.
