Toyota Motorsport Racing Ahead with dSPACE

The entire network of electronic control units (ECUs) in the first Formula 1 racing car from Toyota Motorsport in Cologne is being tested in a simulated environment at an early development stage. Toyota Motorsport is cooperating closely with dSPACE on this project. The simulators that are developed are used for hardware- in-the-loop tests which permit every conceivable scenario for function tests on the ECUs.
