Overview

The exchange of artifacts between business partners in the software-in-the-loop environment is still challenging – especially for virtual electronic control units (V-ECUs), because there is no V-ECU standard. Suppliers have to port their V-ECUs for different tool chains of different providers. To simplify the exchange and the porting of V-ECUs, dSPACE SystemDesk is now able to create V-ECU FMUs which can be executed on any FMI-compliant simulator – as presented by our colleague Kevin Reim in our newest Innovation Coffee Break.
