See the Latest Innovations in Autonomous Driving from dSPACE at the CES® 2020 in Las Vegas

Stop by Booth 314 in the Westgate Paradise Center to See Our Newest Solutions for Autonomous Development

We are excited to be a first time exhibitor at the CES®, taking place Jan. 7-10, 2020, at the Las Vegas Convention Center! dSPACE offers comprehensive solutions and services for autonomous driving data-driven development and validation. Our end-to-end development and test environment results in more efficiency, productivity and reliability for innovations in autonomous driving.

At CES®, we will be showcasing several of our newest solutions for the simulation and validation of autonomous vehicles. We encourage you to visit our booth (#314 - located in the “Smart Cities” product area of the Westgate Paradise Center). Featured demos will include:

AUTERA AutoBox for Blazingly Fast Data Logging and Prototyping

Our brand new AUTERA AutoBox data logging system brings the power of a server into the vehicle to handle level 3, 4 and 5 autonomous development data challenges. AUTERA features fast, time-correlated data logging with a bandwidth of up to 50 gigabytes and a storage capacity of up to 32 terabytes.

Best-in-Quality Data Enrichment

To help our customers get a handle on the monumental task of data enrichment for autonomous development, dSPACE recently expanded its product portfolio by acquiring UAI in July of 2019. UAI specializes in full data enrichment services with best-in-class quality. We will have demos featuring automated image anonymization and data annotation.

Highly Realistic Sensor Simulation

To ensure that vehicle sensors (i.e. camera, radar, lidar) are detecting their surroundings correctly, the sensors have to be validated. dSPACE offers a high-performance simulation environment for testing sensor systems using MIL, HIL or cloud-based SIL simulations. We will have a demo on display showing this capability.

DARTS for Validating Radar Sensors with Precision

dSPACE has a new product family called DARTS, which stands for dSPACE Automotive Radar Test Systems. DARTS are powerful, turn-key systems for testing radar sensors with precision in the laboratory. We will have a demo showing how DARTS can perform over-the-air simulation of radar echoes.

Joint AD Demo: NXP, Kalray, embotech and dSPACE

We encourage you to stop by the NXP Semiconductor booth at CES (Central Plaza, Westgate, Booth CP-18). Here you can see an integrated demo showcasing the latest technologies in autonomous driving simulation featuring NXP, Kalray, embotech and dSPACE.

This end-to-end solution for L2 to L4 automated driving is based on:

BlueBox 2nd generation Autonomous Driving Development platform with production ready automotive silicon

Coolidge 3rd Generation MPPA Perception Accelerator and AI Software

Forces Pro and ProCruiser Real-time optimal control software and Highway planner solution

ASM Traffic Real time simulation environment with traffic, sensor simulation, full VD and BEV powertrain.

This joint AD demo showcases an NXP BlueBox running an autonomous driving software stack consisting of a path planner and a CNN-based object detection algorithm. The dSPACE simulation environment is used to provide an accurate simulation of the vehicle surroundings, traffic participants, as well as the sensor models (ground truth sensors, as well as a physics-based camera sensor simulation). The output of the sensors is being be fed to the autonomous driving software via the dSPACE virtual environment sensor interface (API), which also captures the output of the sensor to close the loop and actuate the vehicle accordingly in the simulation.
