Extended Compatibility as of Release 2020-B RTLib and Firmware 

Since Release 2020-B the real-time application is compatible with firmware (RTLib) of newer Releases. This allows, for example, to use the newest hardware variants also with Release 2020-B.

Exception:
ControlDesk 7.3 (Release 2020-B) requires a workaround for SCALEXIO Processig Unit HCP P04 and newer.

Detailed Information for HCP P04 Revisions

The exact version number can be found on the type label on the rear side of the PC, not behind the front flap.

The difference between HCP P04-001 and -002 is an alternative chipset for the on-board Ethernet interfaces.
Therefore, generally, the minimum required firmware for HCP P04-002 is 25.1.3 .
For use with products from Release 2020-B to 2021-B, the adapted firmware 24.2.3 is required, which includes Real-Time Testing parts using Python 3.6
