Simulating with SystemDesk

SystemDesk includes a feature for building so-called virtual ECUs from an AUTOSAR system. The simulation environment VEOS® allows you to interconnect virtual ECUs. These interconnections between virtual ECUs can be simulated on a PC or on additional target evaluation boards. With PC simulations, systems built with SystemDesk can be validated even without additional hardware, so that errors can be detected and corrected in early development stages.

  • Systems engineers, software architects, software developers, software testers, ECU testers
  • Necessary: Basic knowledge of AUTOSAR and system modeling with SystemDesk

  • Configure and generate the RTE and the basic software needed by virtual ECUs
  • Connect virtual ECUs and environment models with VEOS
  • Simulate virtual ECUs with VEOS
  • Monitor simulations

  • SystemDesk V-ECU generation module VEOS
  • ControlDesk

  • Overview of basic software and RTE according to AUTOSAR
  • Configuration of the basic software and building virtual ECUs in SystemDesk
  • Connecting virtual ECUs with VEOS
  • Including environment models
  • Running and monitoring simulations

Please note

This training course covers the latest SystemDesk release 4.6. This SystemDesk release is tailored to AUTOSAR 4.x.

For users of AUTOSAR 3.x there is a different release, SystemDesk 3.2. Training courses for SystemDesk 3.2 are available only on request.
