1. General
**************************************************************************

This patch can only be installed on an existing RCP and HIL Software
Release 2024-A.


2. Improvements & Fixed Problems
**************************************************************************

This Patch fixes the problems listed below.

24-A
- FRCT now runs on .NET 6 runtime (949979).
- PHS platforms are no longer supported by FRCP (978717).
- Reduced RTMaps task duration from 10 to 4 microseconds (1035223). 

24-A_p1
- Implemented a basic version of BSC generator. It will be usable for VEOS
  simulation in the future (1048548).
- Import of AR23-11 communication matrices is now supported (1167065).
- Signals are now automatically set to alive counter if their SignalType is
  set to ALIVE-COUNTER in the .arxml (905436).
- Computation methods with scale constraints of integer type bigger than 48 
  bits are now imported correctly (1195620).

24-A_p2
- Implemented native support for XIL mapping. XIL mapping file can now be
  generated from FRCT if the corresponding option in General Properties
  is enabled. (1207575).
- Added TRC interface for SignalGroup update bit (1207576).
- Made internal improvements and performance optimizations.

24-A_p3
- Default value of Signal Group update bit value changed from 0 to 1.
- Performance and stability improvements for XIL API file generation.
- Implemented a partial absolutely scheduled timing (AST) optimization of
  TX frames.
- Extended FRCT Automation with an option to create a restbus simulation
  for a specific ECU.
- Added gain blocks to PDU block outputs.

24-A_p4
- Extended FRCT Automation - introduced versioning, added comments during
  export so that it is instantly obvious whether a PDU is TX or RX, and
  added a "Create restbus" command.
- Support for import of AUTOSAR R24-11 communication matrices.
- Introduced a splash screen during FRCT startup.
- Added a possibility to remove all instances of a specific warning or info
  message in FRCT log view in GUI.
- Signals are now automatically set to being used for alive counter or CRC
  calculation if they have the correct signal type set in the communication
  matrix.
- FRCP now provides built-in default AUTOSAR end-to-end protection profiles
  1, 2 and 5.
- Fixed an issue with RawDataAccess not being set properly during Automation
  in some cases.
- Provided an option to remove suffixes for same-named signals in .trc file.

24-A_p5
- Fixed code generation issue that is caused by the new way of handling CRC/E2E
  behavior in FRCP.
- Restored FRCT patch version in FRCT GUI log.


3. Limitations

4. Installation
**************************************************************************

To install the Patch, you must be logged on with administrator rights.
Close all dSPACE applications and simply run the setup which will
automatically locate and patch the Software Installation.
