General

AutomationDesk 25.1p1 is a patch for AutomationDesk 25.1.
It includes bug fixes and improvements for AutomationDesk 25.1 from 
October 2025 to June 2026.
The patch can be installed for an existing installation of AutomationDesk 25.1.
It can be uninstalled at any time.

To uninstall patches and hotfixes, you have to make them visible in the
Windows update history:
In Windows 10, select Control Panel - Programs - Programs and Features - View installed updates.
To uninstall patches or hotfixes, you must have access to the dSPACE Release 2025-A
installation DVD.

Changes in AutomationDesk 25.1p1 Compared to AutomationDesk 25.1

- 1163979 Support of structs, arrays, and references in the variable pane is now available.
- 1527706 Fixed the endless loop of the XiLAPIConvenience.WaitFor Block. The block now offers an optional TaskName data object to specify the name of an MAPort task that is used to evaluate the defined condition term. 
          If you already used the WaitFor block in a project created with a previous dSPACE Release, the project must be synchronized first.
- 1298379 Fixed that the Replace Button of the Found-Items-Pane would hides if there was long text to replace.
- 1551177 Fixed AutomationDesk crashes due to the usage of the character 'Temperature' (𝑇).
- 1468628 Fixed that Save As for a custom library did not serialize completely in the file system.
- 1297693 Fixed that replacement of condition data object raises an error.
- 1551851 Fixed error writing a string value to a float variable with XiLAPIConvenience.Write.
- 1078208 Fixed that dragging and droping a variable onto Get and Set blocks was not possible.
- 1613397 Fixed numpy type error when installing newer AutomationDesk versions using Python 3.12.
- 1656827 Fixed that child data objects of a data container cannot access the AutomationDesk's Interpreter pane.
- 1440875 Changed back the default value of a Bool data object from True to False as in earlier versions.
- 1440929 Fixed use [Alt] [Click] in the Sequence Builder and inserting a new job leads to an error.

- 1278669 Add new XiLAPIConvenience.WaitForSignalGenerator block.
- 1226172 The XiLAPIConvenience.InitializeCapture block uses  the first TaskName as default if no TaskName is specified in the capture.
- 1135776 The Automation API provides the attribute "TemplateDescription".
- 1206993 The Automation API provides an overall execution event to signal when the execution starts, ends, or is canceled. 
- 1132160 All opened custom libraries can be shown in a sorted order or in the order of startup priorities. The sorting is also applied when a custom library is opened later.
- 1132191 Custom libraries provide an editable attribute "Version". The report contains the version in the loaded library list.
- 1132191 The report provides a description about whether the user started the execution manually or through the Automation.
