FAQ 247: Bypassing - Service Command Failed

Question

I get messages like

dsbypass_service_t: Service command failed

OR

dsbypass_service_t: Service parameter illegal

in a Bypassing Scenario, either with the ECU Interface Manager or with RTI Bypass Blockset. I would like to know which Service Command has failed or which Service parameter is illegal. Can I extend the messages from the real-time hardware to gain further information?
