Emulation of Sensor Signals with SCALEXIO

Published: March 13, 2014

For the emulation of PSI5 sensors (e.g., of yaw rate or crash sensors) with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) simulation, dSPACE offers the Programmable Generic Interface (PGI1). The interface box for decentralized connection of sensors and actuators can be connected to a SCALEXIO system via Ethernet. This means that up to 10 PSI5 sensors can be emulated near the ECU unit without cable clutter. The new PSI5 Master/Slave Solution for the PGI1 supports up to 4 masters and 10 slaves.
