DS6341 CAN Board

SCALEXIO I/O board for connecting simulators to CAN bus systems

The DS341 CAN Board is the interface between a SCALEXIO system and CAN/CAN FD bus systems. It provides four channels for RCP and HIL applications. Network management functions such as wake-up and sleep are also included as a software-configurable, switchable termination circuit.

Check out the successor board with additional CAN SIC support

Please note: The end of life of DS6341 CAN Board is planned for December 2034. For new projects wWe recommend using the DS6344 CAN Board which provides all features of the DS6341 CAN Board and an additional transceiver which provides support of SIC (signal improvement capability) technology that enables a stable communication even at high data rates.

1) Unless stated otherwise, the specifications are valid only if the dSPACE hardware is correctly connected to the power, switched on, and ready for operation.

2) The specifications of the mounted transceiver might be different. dSPACE might change the transceiver used without notice. This change does not affect the board revision number.

3) Under laboratory conditions, you can achieve data rates up to 8 Mbit/s with an optimized cable management (i.e., differential signal lines, 120 Ω wave impedance, no stubs).
