ConfigurationDesk now lets you use the shared data interface, which is a completely new interface for exchanging data between bus configurations and Simulink® models. The shared data interface is a central data structure that can be accessed directly by bus configurations and Simulink models, which results in an optimized run-time performance. Model port blocks are not required for this approach, which can simplify the workflow for configuring the data communication.
The current state of the shared data interface is a preview version, i.e., it is in an early but completely tested development stage. We provide this preview version so you can explore this new interface as early as possible. Moreover, we would like to collect feedback that we can consider in the further feature development. However, due to the further feature development, incompatible changes between this preview version and the first stable release version of the interface are likely.
The resources of the MicroLabBox II flexible I/O interface can now be used flexibly by application-specific FPGA functions and standard I/O function blocks in ConfigurationDesk. By using ConfigurationDesk function blocks, you can reduce the modeling of FPGAs with the dSPACE FPGA Programming Blockset to the application-specific functions.
For XIL mapping scenarios, you can now define framework labels for function ports of function blocks directly in ConfigurationDesk. It is therefore no longer necessary to use the ApplTools XILMapper solution for this purpose.
ConfigurationDesk now supports battery simulation and current measurement with SCALEXIO FSX racks (containing new FSX boards, e.g., DS6807) using the standard I/O functionality of ConfigurationDesk.
