With ASM, you can now control the movement of vehicle doors from the scenario. You can use this feature, for instance, for NCAP dooring tests or to test parking systems. The vehicle door movement is also consistently animated in AURELION.
Improvements have been made to the ASM Vehicle Dynamics demo models. They now come with modernized ControlDesk layouts and contain maneuvers to account for ISO 7401/4138. These maneuvers provide an automatic precalculation to assure ISO-compliant maneuver execution.
Also, the ASM Vehicle Dynamics models now support twin-tire visualization in AURELION and come with generalized suspension models to reduce the number of different suspension models and to make modeling easier.
The ASM Battery model has also been improved to better support HIL simulation for battery management systems. The parameterization of the battery model has been simplified. The model now also provides parallel battery packs with separate precharge switches and the modeling of battery wire resistance.
The ASM Traffic model comes with an extended OSI interface to also support OSI::HostVehicleData.
With ModelDesk, you can now initiate an AURELION scene update from the ModelDesk user interface or tool automation. Also, ModelDesk completed the transition to .NET 8. This ensures the long-term support of future user interface technologies, operating systems, and security updates.
