TargetLink 4.1

AUTOSAR Extensions, FMI Support, and Much More

November 15, 2015: In addition to substantial extensions for AUTOSAR-compliant development and support for AUTOSAR 4.2, TargetLink® 4.1 primarily provides functionalities for efficient read and write access to NVRAM (nonvolatile RAM) via NvData interfaces. The latest TargetLink version also supports AUTOSAR transformers, which enable end-to-end communication protection for safety-relevant applications and communication via automotive Ethernet by using SOME/IP (scalable service-oriented middleware over IP). With TargetLink 4.1, users can export Functional Mock-up Units (FMUs) from TargetLink models that are based on the Functional Mock-up Interface (FMI) standard. This lets users execute TargetLink-generated code with dSPACE VEOS, dSPACE SCALEXIO®, and offline and real-time simulators from third parties.
