dSPACE Release 2014-A

June 14, 2014: dSPACE Release 2014-A adds numerous new functionalities to several dSPACE tools. Here's an overview of the most important innovations: 

ASM 6.0: New model for simulating pneumatic systems; extended model for traffic and environment simulation

Version 6.0 of the dSPACE Automotive Simulation Models (ASM) introduces a new model for simulating pneumatics systems and also extends the model for simulating the traffic and the environment.

AutomationDesk 4.1: Certified for ISO 26262 and IEC 61508

The latest version of dSPACE's test automation software, AutomationDesk, has been certified by TÜV SÜD for testing safety-related systems according to ISO 26262 and IEC 61508.

ControlDesk 5.2: Extended range of supported hardware

ControlDesk Next Generation 5.2, the new version of dSPACE's experiment and instrumentation software for ECU development, provides support for a greater range of hardware, new functionalities, and numerous usability enhancements.

SystemDesk 4.2: Generating virtual ECUs based on AUTOSAR R4

From dSPACE Release 2014-A onward, virtual ECUs (V-ECUs) based on AUTOSAR R4 can be generated with SystemDesk 4.2. 

VEOS 3.2: Support for AUTOSAR Version 4.1.2 and Functional Mock-up Interface

In Version 3.2 of VEOS, dSPACE's PC-based simulation platform, support for AUTOSAR has been extended to include AUTOSAR Version 4.1.2. 

DS1007 PPC Processor Board Fastest closed-loop model computation

With its dual-core PowerPC architecture based on the Freescale QorlQ P5020 dual-core processor running at 2 GHz, the new DS1007 PPC Processor Board can compute complex Simulink® models at high closed-loop sampling rates with minimal I/O access times. 

SCALEXIO: Multi-processing-unit (SCALEXIO multi-PU systems)

SCALEXIO, the hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) system, supports the coupling of two or more SCALEXIO Processing Units from dSPACE Release 2014-A onward.
