Overview
The AURELION ultrasonic sensor is a state-of-the-art solution that will bring major benefits the testing of electronic control units (ECUs) and algorithms in parking. Designed specifically for advanced automotive testing, it features a physically based sound distribution model that accurately simulates real-world conditions. This makes it ideal for applications such as raw data injection or over-the-air stimulation in hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) and vehicle-in-the-loop (VIL) testing. This innovative sensor overcomes the challenges of ultrasonic systems, such as transducer interference and multipath effects, and ensures precise evaluations.
It supports multi-sensor simulation and enables simulation of up to 12 ultrasonic sensors on a single GPU, increasing the scalability and efficiency of complex validation projects. It is user-friendly and offers a demo setup and parking scenarios for immediate practical application.
By using a physics-based model for sound distribution, the system provides engineers with insights into real-world performance and mitigates the risks associated with deployment. It integrates advanced techniques with raw data injection capabilities that are compatible with frameworks such as DSI3 protocol and enhance sensor fusion algorithms for comprehensive environment perception. In addition, the scalable design optimizes hardware resources.
