As a Field Application Engineer for Radar Simulation at dSPACE, you are the primary point of contact for your sales colleagues on radar sensor testing and validation topics. In the business acquisition phase, you will support your colleagues in addressing technical questions in customer meetings as well as executing proof of concept tests and evaluations. Curiosity about the requirements of our customers, in the field of driver assistance and radar / lidar simulation is an important prerequisite for competent advice in this high-tech environment.
You will deeply familiarize yourself with the topic of automotive radar sensors and know the interaction of the products in all phases of the customer's development process.
Responsibilities
- Presentation of our products and technologies with a focus on radar simulation
- Technical application advice
- Development of customer-specific solutions and testing environments
- Technical support for sales engineers
- Regular customer visits
Qualifications
- Completed degree in electrical engineering, computer science, physics or similar
- At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in the automotive environment
- Knowledge in the development of driver assistance functions
- Highly self-motivated and able to work in a team
- Willingness to travel
