Lead Development Representative

Location: Wixom, MI

The  Lead Development Representative is responsible for prospecting, qualifying and generating new sales leads to support the sales team. This individual will be a highly motivated to develop business opportunities through qualifying leads resulting from various marketing activities. This individual will also have excellent communication skills and a high aptitude to learn technical information. As part of the marketing team, this position will be responsible for:

 

Responsibilities:

  • Following up on leads and performing lead qualification tasks to discover prospective customer needs by telephone, email etc.
  • Supporting lead nurturing programs using the marketing automation tools
  • Data entry into the CRM tool, maintain database, record metrics for the lead qualification and nurturing program
  • Pursue customer engagement by initiating communications and follow-up
  • Transition qualified leads to sales account managers and work closely with the sales team for further follow-up
  • Assist in other marketing activities

 

Qualifications:

  • Min. Associate degree in technology, business, communications, marketing, or equivalent experience
  • 2-4 years Inside sales experience in technology industry or marketing experience in B2B environment, preferably in the technology sector
  • Experience in use of CRM, Marketing Automation tools.  Familiarity with MD365 and ClickDimension is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with changing priorities, organized and productive in demanding situations
  • Proficient in use of MS-Office Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Sharepoint
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Team player
