Linux glibc core library

Description

A security vulnerability in the Linux core library glibc allows attackers with local accounts to escalate their privileges to the 'root' administrator account. Various scripts have been published, which make exploiting the vulnerability very easy.

Currently, we are assessing the impact and vulnerability of our products in relation to the glibc security vulnerability.

Measures

In order to avoid exploitation of the vulnerability as best as possible, the following steps can be taken:

- Monitor appropriate systems for suspicious activity

- Limit access to the necessary people
