Introduction ----------------------------------------------------------------------- This patch can only be installed on top of an existing dSPACE Release 6.6. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- 2. Problems Fixed by This Patch ----------------------------------------------------------------------- a MicroAutoBox II Summary: - When a measurement is started from ControlDesk 3.6 or CalDesk 3.0.1 with short measurement intervals, the measurement might abort immediately. - Fixes problems with the Ethernet interface. - Fixes a problem with timeouts when using flash memory access. b. Bugfixes for the CAN RTLIBs and updates of the CAN firmware for the following platforms: - DS1103, - DS1005/DS1006/DS1006MC with DS4302,DS2202,DS2210,DS2211 - DS1401 with CAN_TP1 Summary: - Fixes a problem when an active CAN channel is not connected to the CAN bus. When this problem occurs, the CAN communication on a second CAN channel of the same CAN board might stop. - Fixes a problem which may occur when XTD and STD CAN messages are used on the same CAN channel. When this problem occurs the CAN communication on the CAN channel stops. - Minimizes the task jitter when the CAN service is used. - Fixes a problem with sending CAN messages. Sporadically sending messages fails for several minutes and starts thereafter. - Fixes a problem with receiving of CAN messages on MicroAutoBox II. c. Bugfixes for the LIN RTLIBs and updates of the LIN firmware for the following platforms: - DS1005/DS1006/DS1006 MC with DS4330 - DS1401 with CAN_TP1 Summary: - Fixes a problem with stopping LIN schedules when a dominant bus state is forced to the LIN bus line for a longer time period. - Fixes a problem with a corrupt LIN frame which may occur if a LIN schedule is started before the previously running LIN schedule is completed. - Fixes a problem with a LIN schedule not starting at some MicroAutoBoxes d. Bugfixes for the Real-Time Testing with FlexRay on the following platforms: DS1005/DS1006/DS1006 MC Summary: - A problem was fixed where interrupts might be disabled during the AccessBoard() method of the Real-TimeTestManagerServer. This can trigger task overruns (or task deadline violations if FlexRay is used). e. Bugfixes for I/O boards - DS5203: Fixes problem with the FPGA programming for board revision 2.x (PHS PLD Update.) - DS4201S: Fixes an initialization problem when the DS4201S is used with the DS1006 MC. - Fixes a problem with the virtual Gigalink configuration on the DS1006MC. - Fixes problems with updating the CAN firmware 1.7.5 of DS22xx boards (verify errors). f. Bugfixes for the core RTLibs for the following platforms: - DS1005/DS1006/DS1006 MC - DS1401 Summary: - Fixes a problem with task overruns which occur approximately 2 minutes after starting models using the Flight Recorder. g. Bugfixes of command line tools Summary: - Fixes a problem with the PpcPagePatch1xxxx tools. When called under Windows 7 its execution is blocked by the UAC. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- 3. Limitations ----------------------------------------------------------------------- No known limitations of this patch. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- 4. Installing the Patch ----------------------------------------------------------------------- To install the RTLIB Patch, execute DS_RTLIB_SW_169587.exe. NOTE: You need to close any dSPACE software and MATLAB before invoking the installation. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- 5. Firmware Upgrade ----------------------------------------------------------------------- a. MicroAutoBox II After installing the patch, please update the system PLD and host interface PLD firmware. b. Firmware for the CAN/LIB boards ControlDesk automatically updates the new detected firmware versions.
