rtplib2 to XIL API .NET MAPort Migration Guide
Guideline with code examples on how to migrate rtplib2 Python scripts to XIL API .NET MAPort using PythonNET
Since dSPACE Release 2014-B, the Platform API Package contains an implementation of the ASAM XIL Model Access Port (MAPort) in .NET.
As a consequence, rtplib2 is discontinued and will be distributed for the last time with dSPACE Release 2016-A.
Python support for the XIL API .NET MAPort implementation is given with the usage of the PythonNET module.

Required Python distribution
Operating dSPACE XIL API .NET MAPort in the Python script language requires PythonNET, which is contained in the dSPACE Python 2.7 distribution. The dSPACE XIL API .NET setup also installs the dSPACE Python distribution.
