The high innovation potential of modern driver assistance systems is leading to growing volumes of functionality, which are increasingly being assigned to electronic control unit (ECU) networks. To meet the necessary quality goals and deadlines, the networked functions have to be validated on a PC in interaction with plant models and virtual ECUs at an early phase during software creation.
