In the ADASIS Forum (ADASIS = Advanced Driver Assistance Systems Interface Specifications), representatives of the automotive industry are working on the further development of the ADASIS v2 standard for access to predictive road data. The goal is to simplify the development and use of predictive map-based driver assistance systems.
The members of the ADASIS Forum include car makers, ECU suppliers, and vendors of navigation systems and digital road maps. dSPACE is also a member, true to our aim to provide a portfolio of tools for developing and testing driver assistance applications.
Predictive map-based driver assistance systems have the potential to considerably reduce fuel consumption and CO2 emissions and increase vehicle safety.
