dSPACE License Server

The dSPACE License Server is used for licenses that are protected by the Floating Network License (FNL) mechanism instead of the standard execution key (dongle).

From this page you can download the latest version of the License Server. If you encounter problems with Floating Network Licenses, you should consider installing the latest version since the License Server is updated from time to time.

Version information

The current version dSPACE License Server 2.5 comprises FLEXnet Licensing version 11.9.
 

Installing the dSPACE License Server

1. Logon as a user with administrative rights.
2. Download the setup file via the link below, and save it to a temporary folder (e.g. C:\Temp) on your dSPACE License Server PC.
3. Run LicServer_Setup.exe, and follow the setup instructions. If you already installed a previous version of the dSPACE License Server, the setup first prompts you to remove the existing installation.
4. If you uninstalled the dSPACE License Server in the previous step, reboot the system when prompted and run LicServer_Setup.exe again.

NOTE: If you already received a permanent license file, insert the key disk with your permanent license file or specify the path to the folder containing the permanent license file when prompted by the setup.
