Communication between dSPACE real-time systems and EB Assist ADTF can be implemented with the dSPACE ADTF Blockset .
Developing driver assistance systems with environment sensors
New, intelligent driver assistance systems (DAS) capture the vehicle's environment using sensors such as video, radar and lidar. When in-vehicle rapid control prototyping (RCP) systems are used in DAS development, data from sensors has to be preprocessed, merged and recorded time-synchronously with other measurement variables.
To perform function verification of DAS electronic control units (ECUs) with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) simulators, previously recorded real sensor data has to be integrated, and virtual test drives have to be carried out in the laboratory.
